Every year since 2013, H.O.O.A.H. WI has organized the Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness March which brings the community together to walk the number of miles that represents the number of veterans lost to suicide every day.
The purpose of this event is three-fold: to raise awareness for the issue of veteran suicide, to show support to veterans and their families – those battling their mental health and those who have lost the battle, and to bring in funds to support the many H.O.O.A.H. WI programs available to all Wisconsin veterans.
